OUR MORNING LEARNING ACTIVITIES

Every morning at 8.30 am we do special activities so that we can get better at reading books.

So please come early to school so you can participate in the  learning games and have fun!! 

MAKING GROUPS OF TWO

We are learning to make sets or groups of 2.
For counting them quickly we must know how to skip count in 2's.

We are using cubes, drawing pictures to help us think and talking to our friends.

4 groups of 2 is 8
So we counted 2,4,6,8

6 groups of 2 is 12
For this we counted 2,4,6,8,10,12

We can read the word problem and draw pictures to show our understanding. We also use cubes and record our answers.
