MAKING FRUIT KEBABS

Today we made fruit kebabs.

We used apple,banana, kiwifruit and orange to make our fruit kebab.

We put pieces of fruit one by one on the skewer.

This is what the fruits tasted and felt like....

The apple was crunchy and juicy. The kiwifruit was juicy and soft. The orange was juicy but the banana was soft and smooth.
That is so healthy.

OUR CULTURAL PATTERNS AND DESIGNS

We watched the video on Austin's butterfly and saw how Austin kept trying to make his picture of the butterfly better. He did several drafts and looked closely at the picture to see the details and draw them too.
So we did the same like Austin. We chose a cultural design or pattern and did a draft 1. Then we looked closer and next time drew another draft 2 and added the details. Our teacher helped us look closely and sometimes showed us where we needed to look.

When we were happy we did the final draft. Then we went over it with a vivid pen.

MEASUREMENT - HOW LONG IS IT?

We are making worms with rods, playdough and cubes. I wonder which is long and which is short.

Now we are using cubes to measure the sticks. 

We also used cubes to measure how tall our buddy is. We counted the cubes and wrote the number.

MEASURING IS FUN !!

LOOKING AT PODS

We went near the senior playground and found some pods.

The pods were brown and long. There were seeds in the pod.

We saw two trees that had pods.
