STEPPING OUT WITH CONSTABLE TAINA
Constable Taina came to our class to show us how to keep safe on the road. We must look for TRAFFIC on the road. Cars, buses, motorbikes, trucks, vans, bicycles are all TRAFFIC.
Constable Taina showed us how to cross the road and look for traffic. We had to stop, look and listen. We also had to look left and right and left again while crossing the road.
We were so lucky we got to sit in the police car.
We were sitting on a car seat putting on our seat belts. Constable Taina was checking if we were buckling correctly to be safe on the road.
Constable Taina made us practice again how to cross on the road.
BUTTERFLIES ARE SYMMETRICAL
We made butterflies by putting different colours of paint on one side of the wing. Then we folded and got the paint on the other side. Now both sides are the same. That is symmetry.
After it dried we put a body and feelers for the butterflies.
Here are our butterflies!! Come to room 3 and see them.
